Restaurants Association of Ireland attended the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Tourism, Culture, Arts, Sport and Media

President of the Restaurants Association of Ireland Mark McGowan and CEO Adrian Cummins attended the Joint Committee on Tourism, Culture, Arts, Sport and Media to discuss Working Conditions and Skill Shortages in the Tourism and Hospitality sector on Wednesday 6th April 2022 at 13:30 – 16:30 which can be watched back here. The Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) and Fáilte Ireland were also in attendance.

Whilst the topic for discussion was working conditions and the skills shortage in tourism and hospitality, other areas such as rising business costs, the need for supports for the recovery and the retention of the 9% VAT rate were also discussed.
